Chaise Lounges

View All Chaise Lounges

Historically the Chaise Lounge was designed for luxurious reclining. Also known as a “Fainting Couch”, “Day Bed” or “Sun Lounger”, this style has always been associated with luxury and relaxation. In early 19th century France the Meiridenne lounge had a beautiful asymmetrical design, high head rest with lower sloped foot rest. By creating variations on the chaise lounge you can fine tune how the chaise receives you. You can have armless chaise, one with two arms, one arm right side facing, one arm left side facing, curved back with curved footboard, angled back, etc. This piece can be styled to work with any style interior and can be designed to play off of other upholstery by incorporating aspects such as tufting, adding as skirt, wood base, leather fabric combination, etc.
